Clear Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Barbara Duffy as Group Chief People & Performance Officer, effective 8 September 2025, alongside the expansion of Victoria Gallimore’s responsibilities as Group Chief of Staff. These changes strengthen the Group’s leadership capacity and reinforce its commitment to a high performance, people first culture.
Barbara joins Clear Group with more than two decades of senior leadership experience in human resources, transformation, and organisational strategy. Most recently, she served as Global Chief People Officer at IG Group, a fintech headquartered in the UK with offices on 5 continents. At IG, Barbara led the People, Sustainability, Communications functions and delivered significant enterprise-wide change.
Before IG Group, Barbara held a number of Group HR Director and Senior Executive roles including: St. James’s Place Wealth Management RWE Group, Nationwide Building Society, and Centrica plc. She has proven experience in scaling businesses into new territories in complex, regulated environments and building new capabilities.
In her new role at Clear Group, Barbara will lead the company’s people and organisational development strategy, ensuring it continues to attract, develop, and retain top talent and enables the delivery of the Group’s performance objectives and growth plans.
Alongside Barbara’s appointment, following her successful dual leadership of the Chief of Staff and People & Culture functions, Victoria Gallimore takes on an expanded Group Chief of Staff role. Victoria will continue to work closely with the Group CEO and Executive Leadership Team to drive enterprise wide strategic initiatives, enhance cross functional collaboration, and ensure operational alignment across the Group to enable delivery at pace.
