Entries are now open for the Cockpit Arts/CLEAR Insurance Award 2018

We are delighted to announce the return of the Cockpit Arts / CLEAR Insurance Award for 2018.

CLEAR continues to show commitment to supporting creative businesses, having run our specialist insurance scheme for Craft Workers & Designer-makers since November 2002.

For a number of years CLEAR has worked closely with Cockpit Arts and the UK craft community to provide an affordable insurance package tailored specifically to the needs of designer-makers.

The insurance scheme has proved enormously beneficial to the UK craft community by providing an affordable insurance package tailored specifically to the needs of makers.

Cockpit Arts is an award winning social enterprise and the UK’s only creative-business incubator for designer-makers. Since they first started in 1986 they have helped thousands of talented craftspeople to grow their businesses, many of whom have gone on to achieve national and international success.

We are proud to be associated with Cockpit Arts and in particular to be sponsoring this Award.

Howard Lickens, CLEAR's CEO said of the award "At CLEAR, we recognise that running a small creative business is not all about talent. The day to day concerns of cost and risk are just as important. You entered the trade because you loved to create, at CLEAR we want to help your creation succeed. We are delighted to be associated with Cockpit Arts and in particular to be sponsoring this Award."
