What you need to know

Can I insure my plant and equipment?
Yes, absolutely. Reinstatement (new for old) is available for items of plant up to three years old. For items which are older than three years, cover is on an Indemnity basis (market value).
Are there any cover benefits?
There is no height limit, but a depth limit of one metre, which can be increased if required.  There is also a burning of debris warranty.
Do I need Employer's Liability cover for sub-contractors?
Yes, possibly, as Employer's Liability cover would be required if you engage labour either through PAYE or via self-employed, labour-only sub-contractors.
