An Independent School, situated in Suffolk, was hit by lightning and most of the communication equipment and a lot of their computer equipment was either damaged or destroyed.

CLEAR were advised of the incident on the day of the School’s loss and, in turn, we advised Insurers immediately. Whilst it took the School twenty-nine days to send full details, including estimates for replacement of the equipment, CLEAR sent the information on to the Insurer on the day it was received by us and they authorised the replacement of the damaged or destroyed equipment within just four working days.

The equipment was quickly replaced and invoices were sent in by the school four days later, allowing the Insurer to issue the School’s cheque within seven days.
