Whilst passing a parked vehicle in slow moving traffic, the driver’s door of the third party vehicle blew open and caught the nearside passenger door of our client’s vehicle. Repairs to our client's vehicle were carried out, however he was made to pay the policy excess since the third party’s insurer contested liability for the incident.

CLEAR didn't accept the delays being caused by this dispute, in what should have been a straightforward non fault claim, and so naturally we fought with the insurer and their appointed solicitor to ensure that they rigorously defended this claim on behalf of our client and not accept the third party’s continued delaying tactics.

Thankfully a positive decision on this claim was reached and a full recovery was made following a full liability acceptance from the third party. Furthermore, our client had their £500 policy excess reimbursed to conclude the claim.
