The Leadership Academy is designed to help delegates become successful leaders, with the three-day course covering a range of topics including:

  • Leadership v Management
  • Effective Leadership
  • Coaching – what, why and how
  • Personalities and dealing with difficult people
  • The role of senior leadership in performance
  • Building senior leadership in yourself and others

The course is aimed at future leaders of businesses and is designed to enhance and develop leadership skills, with a view to individuals progressing to the most senior roles within the business.

Speaking about what he hopes to get from the course, Eamonn said:

“I am looking to enhance my skills as a leader in order to be able to inspire and motivate the team around me, to not only the benefit of the company but also the benefit of the individuals I work with.

“Personally, I feel it is important that I am able to see the potential in people and give them the skills and opportunities to progress within the business so that they can become the best in whatever role they are performing.

“For me these programmes are important because in any industry one should never feel that there is nothing new to learn. These programmes provide an opportunity to meet and discuss ideas, issues and solutions with like-minded people. I’m a great believer that one should be continually looking to learn, move forward and develop one’s own skills and programmes such as this provide an opportunity to do so.”

Zurich’s Leadership Academy is expected to deliver the training face-to-face in Q3 of 2021, subject to Government guidelines.
