At Clear, we are delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Future Frontiers.

Future Frontiers is an award-winning charity that exists to ensure 16 to 18-year olds  from disadvantaged backgrounds with limited opportunities fulfil their potential – at school and when transitioning to education, employment or training.

Who are Future Frontiers?

At the heart of the charity’s work is a mentorship programme, focused on providing young participants with one-to-one coaching by business professionals, supporting them as they grapple with questions like “what do I do after school?”

How will Clear be supporting them?

A group of Clear team members have volunteered to act as mentors in the programme, and Clear as a business will be donating some of their working hours to doing so – in addition to making a financial donation to the charity.

Every volunteer mentor from Clear will be assigned one student. They can talk about the mentee’s interests and goals, as well as sharing challenges that they may personally have faced in their careers.

The volunteer group contains Clear staff of all age ranges and experience levels, from someone who has just finished an apprenticeship – meaning they are on a similar level of experience to their mentee – to someone who's been in industry for 30 years or more, and can give the benefit of expertise that they have acquired through a long career.

Students and mentors are carefully matched by Future Frontiers, with a view to helping participants get the most out of the relationships - and the results are terrific. The programme has been proven to increase students' engagement with their education, and to increase their likelihood of achieving and maintaining success in education, employment or training.

Helping to inspire the next generation

We’re extremely excited to be involved with Frontier Futures, to begin helping to inspire the next generation to succeed - whether in an insurance career, another industry, or in further education.
