Clear Group recognises the impact it has on resources and has developed strategies to enable us and our people to reduce waste and lessen the impact that we have on the environment.
One of our initiatives is to encourage staff to cycle to work and the installation of showers in our offices has led to a reduction in the number of cars in our car park each morning.
We have introduced recycling bins, encourage double sided printing and copying and power down our PCs at weekends. We unfortunately still consume a great deal of paper but have now sourced it from sustainable supplies, likewise our kitchen consumables are eco-friendly and ‘Fair Trade’.
When we travel long distances we prefer rail to road or air and three of our directors have switched to ‘hybrid’ cars – five more to go!
